I can sum up why you should use coupons in one phrase: To Save Money!
It really is that simple but here are a few more thoughts on why you should start using coupons this year:
I coupon. I have a stockpile. I buy coupons. I save money only on the things I use.
That’s pretty much my strategy with coupons.
Since I don’t eat food out of a box my couponing is limited to household items and personal grooming supplies. I have a stockpile of laundry detergent, toilet paper, paper towels, napkins, dish soap, hand soap, etc, etc, etc. You get my point.
I’ve saved thousand of dollars by not having to purchase the above as I get most of my stockpile for free or greatly reduced.
I don’t need to save money in this fashion anymore, but I like to save money by using coupons. Why not? Why would I want to pay more for the items I use if I know I can save a bundle? And so, this is why I use coupons.
This may not be your philosophy for using coupons. You may really be in a bind and need the unbelievable savings you can garner by couponing. That’s a great reason too.
The common denominator no matter what you’re philosophy or reason is to save money.
So whether you need to save money or just enjoy snagging a great deal, couponing is a great mechanism to achieve that end result.
Use my shopping list to help you organize what you’re buying with coupons. This tool will really help you see your savings and if you keep these in a folder you can reference sale prices to see if you’re getting the best deal out there.
I’d love to hear you’re reasons for using coupons. What are they?
