Floral arrangements, decadent chocolate, and wine (I mean who doesn’t love wine?) are always appropriate hostess gifts.
But everyone else is going to be bringing these types of party gifts and I know you want to be different!
Boy, do I understand what you mean.
This time of year, I feel the pressure to find a unique and festive present for each of our holiday hosts.
I remember a few years back I had no less than five holiday parties to attend. Trying to come up with some unique gift ideas for the hostess was a nightmare and costly I might add.
Then a few years ago I found the solution and I want to share it with you today.
Instead of putting unnecessary stress on myself, I’ve spent some time coming up with a no-fail gift basket that works for every occasion.
No more running to the store at the last minute trying to come up with a holiday hostess gift that meets my expectations.
No more trying to juggle the expense of what to buy and keep it within my budget.
No more wondering if this is something they’ll use because everyone can use this gift.

STRESS FREE HOLIDAY HOSTESS GIFTS
This gift basket was inspired by my love for Mrs. Meyer’s holiday scents. No one — and I mean no one — can resist the smell of peppermint, orange clove, and Iowa pine this time of year.
I distinctly remember the first time I put the peppermint dish soap in the soap dispenser. My daughter exclaimed, “How come I can smell peppermint? It smells amazing!”
I just laughed because I knew she was referring to the Mrs. Meyers holiday dish soap.
Of course, I let her in on the secret.
Since that time, we always have Mrs. Meyer’s in our dispenser.
You can start enjoying Mrs. Meyer’s too and grab the perfect hostess gifts for all your friends and family.
Right now, you can grab a Mrs. Meyer’s holiday hand soap from Amazon.
Now that you have the products you’ll need some fun ways to wrap these festive and environmentally friendly products!
CLEANING CADDY
Instead of a traditional gift basket, choose a cleaning caddy to stick with the household theme. You can use anyone you like, but I’m especially fond of Grove Collaborative’s white enamel caddy. So useful and pretty! Perfect to store all their soon to be favorites from Mrs. Meyer’s.
USE THE TOWELS
Skip the tissue paper and line the caddy with this gorgeous seasonal towel. They are super thick and absorbent — perfect for drying dishes and mopping up spills while preparing a big meal. We can’t get enough of these towels in our home.
They wash up so well and really last, unlike many other store-bought dish towels.
GO TALL
Place the tallest item, the multi-surface spray, in the middle. Your host or hostess will appreciate this endlessly useful spray for cleaning countertops, backsplashes, and appliances after guests go home.
And the scent will linger in the kitchen making it a joy to clean with. Plus Mrs. Meyer’s comes in concentrates making refilling easy and affordable.
FILL IN
Arrange the smaller items beside the multi-surface spray. Mrs. Meyer’s hand soap and dish soap are necessities in my kitchen, and guests always rave about the cheerful scents. I chose Iowa pine for this gift basket because it reminds me of a fresh-cut Christmas tree!
FORGO TRADITIONAL FILLERS
I like to forgo traditional “fillers” like cellophane or shredded paper in favor of something more festive and eco-friendly. In keeping with the Iowa Pine scent, I gathered a few pinecones from our yard and tucked them into the gaps. If you chose the Peppermint scent, you could use candy canes and individually wrapped chocolates instead. And how fresh would some juicy oranges and fragrant cinnamon sticks look peeking out among the orange clove kit?
That’s it — your hostess gift is ready to go!
