Welcome to Day 52 of 100 Days of Debt Free DIY Holiday Ideas. I’ve searched the web to bring you some of the best DIY and budget friendly holiday ideas to eat, make and give all without breaking the bank this Christmas!
I love snowmen. My house is covered in them come the holidays!
One of the reasons is because after Christmas is over and you have to take down all your Christmasy decorations, you can still keep your snowmen up around the house for the rest of the winter.
It makes the house seem all cozy and inviting to have them up too.
So when my eyes landed on this DIY project and decorating idea and I knew I had to include it in this years picks.
Log Snowman Decoration
Our Snowman Decoration comes from Michelle over at Crafty Morning.
Now I will say that I will need some help with this one and you might too. I’m not that adept with a chainsaw and all, and so I think I’ll be asking my neighbor Ken if he can cut me up a few rings of wood so I can make a huge snowman for my front porch!
You might have to ask the hubs or another man or woman in your life that’s good with a saw unless of course you can DIY then, by all means, go for it and realize the rest of us bow down to you.
Indoors or out, this DIY project will put a smile on everyone’s face particularly yours when you step back and see your accomplishment.
Not very expensive to make which is the whole point of a debt free Christmas. You can still decorate and have it cost next to nothing!
Another win-win!

I’m a professional cleaner with over 13 years of hands-on experience cleaning homes, a published writer, certified money specialist, and the founder of A Mess Free Life. After paying off over $50,000 in debt, I dedicated myself to helping others master their homes and their money — proving that a clean, organized, stress-free life is possible no matter where you’re starting from. When I’m not writing, you’ll find me cooking, playing bocce, sipping an extra dirty martini, or enjoying the ocean with my cats nearby. I’m also a proud mom and grandma who cares deeply for my mother at home.
