Welcome to Day 53 of 100 Days of Debt Free DIY Holiday Ideas. I’ve searched the web to bring you some of the best DIY and budget friendly holiday ideas to eat, make and give all without breaking the bank this Christmas!
My mother really enjoyed eggnog. As soon as she knew it was available in the store, she would ask me to bring it home. Then she would drink a glass every night while watching tv. It was her routine.
I got my love of egg nog from her, and I have to limit myself to one Egg Nog Latte from Starbucks, or I’d drink one every day.
But I never knew how easy it was to make yourself.
Homemade Salted Caramel Egg Nog
Today’s delicious and simple recipe is brought to you by Becky from The Cookie Rookie.
This eggnog can be made on the stove top in just 15 minutes. No more store bought for me. This recipe is so simple you could literally make it a few times a week without breaking a sweat.
If your family is into egg nog, you’re going to want to whip up a batch. This is like the holidays in a glass!
Oh and you can add your favorite liquor if you want to add a little punch or keep it clean for the kiddos.
I love this recipe and only wish my mother was still around to try it.
