Welcome and thanks for your interest in establishing good money habits!
If you’re feeling stressed out about money and debt and came to learn how to change all that, then kudos to you for taking this first step.
For years, I’ve been helping people get out debt and change how they feel about money. It’s been an exciting journey that has provided me with much fulfillment as I’ve seen many friends and associates go from broke to debt free and content.
YOU MIGHT BE WONDERING,
“WHO IS THIS GAL TO BE TALKING TO ME ABOUT MONEY?”
GOOD QUESTION!
The tips I share come from my own personal journey from a credit card wielding, shopaholic to a responsible woman who is now debt free, content with living a simple life.
I know what it’s like to be freaked out, depressed, stressed, worried, anxious and left in tears about money. I also know what it’s like to be “out to lunch” about one’s financial circumstances. Perhaps you know these feelings too?
What I also know is the freedom that comes from getting your financial house in order, getting out of debt, staying out of debt and coming to a peaceful place about money.
You can read all about me by visiting my About Maureen page but in a nutshell, I will tell you this:
My past included $50,000 in credit card debt.
Thirteen years ago I found myself unemployed with a kid in college, no savings, a ton of debt, no prince charming to come and rescue me and two parent’s semi-dependent on me to help them pay their monthly bills.
The turning point was the day the foreclosure notice showed up in the mail.
From that point forward I made the commitment to learn everything I could about how to change my relationship with money and become debt free once and for all.
I read countless books, worked my butt off in my cleaning business, ripped up my credit cards, started using cash and paid off all of my debt.
Today, I’m debt free and still living in the home the bank wanted to foreclose.
So sit back, grab a cup of coffee and I will take you through my personal Good Money Habit’s, the same strategies I used to change my money habits from piss poor to awesome!
