Fox news called it a “frustration freak out.” I call it a spoiled brat who has no concept of the true meaning of Christmas and gift giving.
Three Things That Bother Me About This Video
Of course the obvious is the boy’s lack of appreciation at the gift his mother just gave him. The boy never thanks his mother for the gift, thanks her for trying to get the game he wanted, never thanks her at all. Just proceeds to scream and throw a fit because she didn’t get the one he wanted.
If I had ever acted that way after receiving something my parents had given me – well, let’s say it wouldn’t have been pretty.
The second issue with this video is why on earth would a parent display for the world to see their kid behaving in such a way? Do they think his behavior is funny? Do they think he’s cute for acting so disrespectfully?
If so, they are in need of a few parenting lessons.
But most of all, what disturbs me most is how unaware this child is of the true meaning of Christmas and gift giving.
In 20 seconds he represents everything that is wrong with society today.
