I love Thanksgiving. It is without a doubt my favorite holiday in part because no gift giving need occur.
It’s a time to focus on family, love, friendship and the less tangible, but important things in our lives.
I host Thanksgiving each year, and my guest is a collection of family and friends. Some friends have left the area and no longer join us in our celebration, while others come and go throughout the years depending on where they are currently living or traveling to or from.
It doesn’t matter, as all friends and family know there is always plenty of room at my holiday table.

Everything You Need To Plan Your Best Thanksgiving!
Planning!
I start planning early in the month to make sure I’m not rushing around the day before like mad women.
I shop for certain products early, because if not they sell out.
I make sure I check over my table linens and decorations to ensure everything is in good shape free from tears, rips, stains, and chips.
I even get my favorite carving knife professionally sharpened, so I know I have a smooth knife for carving my famous, brined the bird.

I’m a professional cleaner with over 13 years of hands-on experience cleaning homes, a published writer, certified money specialist, and the founder of A Mess Free Life. After paying off over $50,000 in debt, I dedicated myself to helping others master their homes and their money — proving that a clean, organized, stress-free life is possible no matter where you’re starting from. When I’m not writing, you’ll find me cooking, playing bocce, sipping an extra dirty martini, or enjoying the ocean with my cats nearby. I’m also a proud mom and grandma who cares deeply for my mother at home.
