Today’s project caught my eye for two reasons: it’s simplicity and the fact you could use real materials instead if you wanted. I like when I find a project I can change up a bit to suit my needs and I love using real pine, pine cones and berries in my projects when I can. Of course, you can keep it exactly as is.
DIY Pine Cone Kissing Ball
The kissing ball! A holiday favorite. Make one or more than one (that’s what I’m thinking). Multi kissing balls would look amazing on my front porch – I’d need to make six in all!
But I digress…
Ok, so this little project is sweet.
First, I love the fact that it creates a ring of pine cones in the middle. That was a unique touch I’d never seen before. I love the ideas of the color scheme too. Very subtle but beautiful.
Of course, you can create your kissing balls in whatever color scheme you want. It will last all winter either way.
And if you want your kissing ball to be bigger than just adjust the size of the styrofoam ball when making your purchase.
